Agreement

By shopping in our store, registering for a class or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

About us

A Fabric Place has been a retail fabric store in Baltimore, Maryland since 1969. Our store is at 6324 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21209.

Prices and availability

• Fabric is sold by the yard and cut to order. Our minimum cut is one quarter yard.
• Prices and stock can change without notice, and we may limit quantities.
• Colors can look different on a screen than in person. We are happy to give you a swatch before you buy.

Payment

We accept cash, major credit and debit cards, and A Fabric Place gift cards. Maryland sales tax is added where it applies.

Returns and exchanges

• Fabric cut to order is final sale, so please check your yardage, color and fiber content before we cut.
• Unopened buttons, thread, notions and trims in their original packaging may be returned within 14 days with your receipt, for store credit or a refund to your original payment method.
• If an item is damaged or defective, please call or visit within 7 days and we will make it right.

Gift cards

Gift cards can be used in our store toward fabric, notions and classes. They cannot be exchanged for cash except where the law requires it, and lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.

Classes and workshops

• Registration and payment are required to hold your spot.
• Cancel at least 7 days before the class for a full refund or credit. After that, we may offer credit toward a future class.
• If we cancel a class or it does not have enough students, you will receive a full refund.
• Students are asked to bring the supplies on the class list and to be considerate of others in the room.

Using our website

This website is for your personal, non-commercial use. Please do not use it for anything unlawful, and please do not copy our photos, logo or text without our written permission. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.

Disclaimers and limits on liability

This website is provided “as is”, and we try to keep it accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Baltimore, Maryland.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
